M.A.C. Security Solutions specialises in advising South West companies on security issues and installs a wide range of security systems tailored to individual customer requirements.
The Managing Director, Mike Chart, served as a police officer with the Metropolitan Police for almost ten years and worked in a number of departments including Criminal Investigation. He has over 30 years experience in the security industry, including operating a very successful security business in South Africa for 8 years. He was instrumental in the concept and design of one of the first body-worn surveillance systems for police forces in the UK and also in the design of a sophisticated security system for a palace in the Middle East which included technologies such as CCTV, sonar, radar, underwater fibre optic fencing and AUVs.
M.A.C. Security Solutions in experienced in
the design and implementation of CCTV and access control
systems (in Devon & Cornwall and beyond), as well as integrated
systems incorporating the latest in security technology. It has worked extensivley within the ANPR / ALPR markets and has been involved
in the design of systems specifically for police forces, as well
as systems for the commercial sector including airports and sea-ports.
Recent security installations have included a large public house and restaurant in Cornwall using 12 cameras and 2 monitors with a 16 channel DVR for recording all of the CCTV images, and large commercial premises in Devon which required cameras around the perimeter of the building, with a dedicated area for the control equipment and a network facility linking to the head office for remote access to the images.
